HOW TO APPLY OUR HEAT TRANSFER NAMES & NUMBERS?

To apply heat transfers, the following steps must be followed:

  1. Make sure the garment is clean and smooth. Avoid seams, zippers, buttons, and folds that could affect the adhesion of the heat transfer or the integrity of the heat presses.
  2. Turn on the textile heat press: Set the iron to 140-160°C (275-320°F) at 12″ (3/4 bar). Adjust these settings to achieve the best printing for your heat transfer.
  3. Preheat the garment for 5” to eliminate moisture and ensure better adhesion of the transfer.
  4. Positioning the heat transfer on the garment: Improved positioning of the heat transfer with NAMES & NUMBERS, thanks to its transparent carrier.
  5. Press for 4 to 12 seconds.
  6. Peeling the transfer: Remove the transparent carrier immediately, while the transfer is still hot.

NOTE: Recommendations for printing heat transfers:

Perform strength and wash tests before starting a series of printing processes.

Use a Teflon or similar protector.

For a definitive seal, place the transfer carrier sheet on top of the transfer and press for 5” (make sure the transfer is well adhered).

WHAT IS AN ANTI-MIGRANT?

Some textile garments, such as soft-shell or Dri-Fit Fabric, especially when they’re red, are susceptible to sublimation. This means that the color of these fabrics bleeds through the textile transfer ink, dirtying it and causing what’s called «bleeding.»

Our heat transfers with the PATENTED SOFT-TOUCH FORMULA are extremely effective in blocking dye migration on pigmented or sublimated fabrics, even when their pigments are reactivated during the application of the heat transfer or during washing (in any context where the garment is subjected to high temperatures).
