HOW TO APPLY OUR PEELABLE DECAL TRANSFERS?
Application:
- Soak the sticker in warm water (20-22ºC) for approximately one minute.
- Remove it from the water and peel off the sticker from the backing paper (sliding it off without turning it as it is printed).
- Using a rubber eraser or cotton cloth, press lightly from the centre of the sticker outwards to remove water and air bubbles. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
- Remove the ‘peelable lacquer’ (the surface layer of clear varnish) with tweezers or your nails.
- For greater resistance, varnish and bake for 20-30 minutes at 180-200ºC / 356-392ºF.
Varnishing/Baking:
The decals in this catalogue can be varnished, for example with spray varnish, once the peelable lacquer has been removed.
They can also be baked, if you want them to be more resistant, at 180-200ºC / 356-392ºF for 20-30 minutes. A domestic oven is ideal. These temperatures are approximate, as a satisfactory result depends solely on correct cooking, which in turn depends on various variables such as cooking time, oven load, oven ventilation, etc.
